Chee Lam Design (CLD) is a Sydney-based studio with a strong focus on producing creative, unique and thoughtful design outcomes that are specific to a project’s program, people and place.

Under the leadership of Chee Lam, CLD undertakes architecture, interiors and design projects across the commercial, public and residential spectrum, with a particular focus on delivering commercial interior environments.

The studio has over 20 years experience in the industry, across all phases of the design process, from developing briefs and concept designs through to project realization, including client liaison, team and consultant coordination, detail documentation and delivery.

Chee’s passion for design in all its forms and excellent communication skills coupled with an ability to apply creative thinking across disciplines allows the studio to comfortably work on projects that range from architecture, interiors and exhibitions to designing for film and theatre.

The studio maintains an open and collaborative relationship with its network of past project partners and consultants to enable the delivery of projects of varying type, scale and complexity.

Chee is registered with the NSW Architects Registration Board and is a Green Star Associate with the Green Building Council of Australia. He is also a part-time academic, lecturing and tutoring within the Faculty of the Built Environment at UNSW.
