The Concourse comprises a 1000 seat concert hall, 500 seat theatre, multi-purpose civic hall, exhibition and rehearsal spaces, cafe/ retail spaces, a 5000sqm library, 400 car spaces and extensive landscaped areas. As the construction phase architects, Toland partnered with contractor AW Edwards to complete documentation of the FJMT design, support AW Edwards during the 3-year construction phase and assist in the delivery of this Design & Construct contract for this development.
AW Edwards was awarded the NSW MBA Outstanding Construction Award 2011, MBA Public Buildings Award (over $25m) 2011 and MBA Innovation for Construction Technique/Equipment 2011.
